L'Intrepide, the Walking Doll

Painted Bisque Heads

by Evelyn Stanbury, DAG GMDM, Certified Doll Artisan Guild Instructor, and Top International Award Winning Doll Maker

These heads are painted with the same care and attention as if they were going to be made into dolls for Evelyn's own collection....because that IS why they were made!!!  Evelyn has spent many years studying how to paint French dolls to museum standards.  Countless hours of practice have resulted in work that is of the highest quality.   If you click on the small photo, it will take you to a larger photo where you can examine with almost microscopic clarity, the quality of this work.

These heads will make into a finished doll of 19"  in height on Seeley's Composition walking Body.  Or, 18" in height on Seeley's FB14S French Composition Body.  The head measures 10" in circumference, and the eye size is 16mm Paperweight.
